The thorn on a rose made her
Suck
Taste
an accidental cut.
Bitter,
Cold,
pressing her finger,
A drop of blood falls on the concrete.
From red to
Transparent,
Icy,
She took a napkin to wipe,
it tore.
A homeless man is sitting by a
grocery store,
Observant,
Noticing,
then shouted
"Incubate your heart"
She gawked
puzzled,
rolled her eyes and strolled away.
"Mad old man" she whispered under her breath.
But afterward felt convicted,
turned around to questioned him,
however, all she found were feathers,
lying on the ground.
